Dr. Dillon and his team were very thorough and knowledgeable. They made me feel comfortable the entire time I was there. Even the front line staff were very friendly and helpful getting me started. Highly recommended!

This place and the people are amazing! They know everyone by name and will remember/pick up conversations you had from the week before! Was referred by a friend and have been going since April and am completely pain free and notice the difference in myself and x-rays!

When I first started going to Total Health Chiropractic I could hardly walk and couldn’t walk without wearing some kind of orthopedic shoes. I can walk now even run and do stairs (without holding on to side rails). I can wear normal shoes again. I feel like a new person or my younger self. I highly recommend both doctors Dillon and Brady. These guys are amazing! They really take time to listen to you and tailor a plan towards healing… not just focusing on a quick fix. They educate you and fully explain your unique situation and the best route to take. I was such a mess of pain and traveling down a dark road towards not even being able to function, let alone enjoy life. Fate stepped in when I saw their ad on FB and took a chance. The entire staff is super friendly as well. My chiro for life now for sure is Dr. Dillon!

Best chiropractor and support staff in town. Slipped a disc in my back 2 years ago. Never thought I’d get to where I’m at today. That wouldn’t have happened without Dr. Hammes. Not only friendly and intelligent, he explains things to where you can understand and interpret what is going on with your injury. Went from laying on the floor all day when I hurt my back to now running every single day.

I’m finally getting the care I need.   After having a disappointing experience elsewhere and countless dollars I won’t get back, I finally found a place that listened to my needs and told me how they were going to help me every step of the way.   I can’t turn back time, but I now I can go forth and enjoy what’s ahead.   Thanks for everything.

The people are great, they use a scientific, data-based approach towards your wellness program, and have a super power to remember every small detail about you and have great conversations every visit. They truly care for people, and never do anything unless it can be backed by science and create a trackable change.

Dr. Dillon and all of his staff are amazing! I have neck, back, and hip issues from years of sports and a nasty car accident that gave me frequent migraines. He has helped reduce those significantly and gain control of my body again. Thank you so much!

I was scared and had a slight phobia of going to a chiropractor, but the pain in my neck was so horrible I couldn’t stand it anymore. Also horrible digestive issues that I have had for years that were discouraging me. Everyone at Total Health is amazing and made me feel comfortable right from the start. I wish I started years ago to help my issues, but feel very fortunate that I found the right place for me and didn’t settle. I have seen so much relief (huge improvement in my neck and some relief in digestion – that will take time) lately that I can’t imagine not incorporating chiropractic into my total wellness plan going forward. I will be a forever patient at Total Health as long as I live in the Coralville/Iowa City area!!!

I’ve been to ten chiropractors in the last 8 years (I keep moving), and Dr. Dillon is by far the best. He looks at the whole picture and his adjustments stick better than anyone’s. He also knows that adjustments aren’t the whole picture and shows me stretches and things to help find the real source.

All chiropractors are not created equal, and Dr. Hammes is the real deal! I have had alot of chiro treatments over the years, and I have never felt this good. 🙂 Not to mention the best massages in town! Thanks Elaine! Excellent new chiropractor in the Coralville, IA area! Most of the chiropractors I have seen just want to do a quick adjustment then get you back out the door. Here, Dr. Hammes does a full evaluation on you before you are ever adjusted and each time you get adjusted he spends the time with you to make sure each bone is in its right place. If you want to get your moneys worth and feel better come see Dr. Dillion Hammes!

Shout out to my new chiropractor, Total Health Chiropractic in Iowa City. Today was only my 2nd visit and was greeted by name when I came in, and then when doc took a little longer to get to me (which happens at every medical institution everywhere) Lisa, the receptionist, came to apologize and offered me refreshments (which does NOT happen. Anywhere. Ever). Plus they have fresh fruit and it smells like oranges here, and I just like that. But seriously, definitely going to be my family’s chiropractic care facility as long as they’re around.

Dr. Hammes is an extremely knowledgable and talented chiropractor. He takes time to fully understand your situation and works with you to develop a treatment plan. I’ve been going to Total Health Chiropractic for a few months and can’t believe how much better I feel! He is a wealth of knowledge and I highly recommend his services! If you have any doubts, just call and make an appointment. You won’t regret it!

I went to Dr Dillon in search of relief from the constant headaches I’ve had over the years, I had been to a chiropractor many times before but thought maybe it was time to see if someone else could make a difference. Dr. Dillon was able to adjust my neck in a way that provided almost instant relief from the headache. He was also able to show me exercises that I could do to help strengthen my neck to prevent having the headaches in the future. He was able to point towards the jaw pain I have been having for years as an additional cause of the headaches and adjusted that as well. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in giving tips on how to help prevent the pain in the future. He’s not too bad to look at either;)

I would recommend and refer Dr. Hammes anyone who is needing work done or would like to learn more about chiropractic services. About a year and a half ago I was get off of a forklift and bashed my knee on the fender of another one. Needless to say I could hardly walk after that. Finally, I decided to go and see Dr. Hammes and luckily he knew the right technique to get me taken care of. Also during my recent pregnancy I had horrible migraines. To my surprise it really does work! There’s even a special table for pregnant ladies which is amazing! He is very welcoming at every appointment I’ve had, along with the lady at the front desk. Not to mention that he has also adjusted my now 7 month old son. I could go on and on about how great of an experience I’ve had at Total Health Chiropractic but you should just set up an appointment and find out for yourself. Take the entire family! He can help all ages!!!

More back and neck relief than I’ve gotten from a Chiropractor in a long time! I’ve been to many Chiro’s in my day…Dr. Hammes is the best yet!

I can’t tell you how much Dr. Hammes has helped me! I have suffered from debilitating migraine headaches for years. I used to get them two or three times per month. After a few visits with Dr. Hammes, I am migraine free! He has also been helping me with other aches and pains I occasionally suffer from. I recommend everyone give him a try. Truly a great doctor!

Before seeing Dr. Dillon, I hadn’t been to a chiropractor since I was an infant getting treated for colic. After suffering from a shoulder injury, a friend had suggested I see a chiropractor for help. Dr. Dillon was fantastic at explaining the mechanics of my body, why I was experiencing the pain, and why chiropractic could help me. He knows the fundamentals and history of chiropractic and I could truly tell he loves what he does.. which made me feel confident in the adjustment! My body healed fast and I still come in a few times a month to keep my body in alignment! I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my overall health and energy. I rarely get sick, I’m off all medications (I now understand that pain is the body telling me something is wrong.. make sense!) and I look forward to my adjustments. I’ve personally witnessed Dr. Dillon adjust all ages – infants to 92 year olds. I’d recommend him to anyone!
