Amy’s journey to improved health started 5 or 6 years ago when she made her first trip to a Chiropractor. Her back was injured as a gymnast as a kid but she didn’t know it. Of course her body compensated throughout the years but not without a price. Her mom worked for an orthopedic surgeon while growing up and didn’t believe in chiropractors, so subsequently she didn’t either. Since Amy was in so much pain, she couldn’t exercise anymore and figured what did she have to lose. The transformation Amy experienced was nothing short of amazing and five months after her first visit, she completed a sprint triathalon!
This transformation and some health issues for one of her sons kick started a desire to learn about more holistic health practices for herself and her family. As she sought to improve her family’s health, she became super passionate about healing the body using whole foods, supplements and natural remedies and finding balance in her life between work, family and extracurricular activities. Amy’s arthritis has disappeared, her husband’s allergies have improved 10 fold and her children have appropriate energy levels. Her family hardly ever gets sick and when they do, they’re usually back on their feet by the next day.
Amy has been trained as a Thermography technician through PACT (Professional Academy of Clinical Thermology) and will be performing thermographic scans for Total Health Thermography. Amy is passionate about using a non invasive technology such as Thermography to monitor your health on a 6 month or yearly basis.
Amy is also a certified Health Coach and received her training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where she was trained in more than one hundred dietary theories and studied a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods. Drawing on this knowledge, Amy can help you create a completely personalized “roadmap to health” that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.
